Location: UK wide Hybrid Working with working away from home at times.

Salary: 50k to 55k depending on experience.

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Senior Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients projects comply with the specifications, designs and the Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality policies.

Responsibilities:

· Project Management: Oversee the planning, design and execution of construction projects, technical assurance roles, research and development projects and the like, including production of Risk assessments and Method statements, coordinating resources managing clients and monitoring costs.

· Innovation: Research, development, implement and manage at site level new and emerging environmentally friendly construction methods, materials and techniques.

· Setting Out: During various stages and checking setting out of Foundations, earthworks, drainage, pavements etc.

· Cost Management/Tendering: Develop and manage project costs, ensuring cost-effective solutions. Assist in the tendering process for future works.

· Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure company deliverables meet or exceed industry standards.

· Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and regulations.

· Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications, and regulatory compliance records.

· Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

· Team Leadership: Lead and mentor future teams of engineers, technicians, and construction workers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

· Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and successful project outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction engineering, with at least 1 year in a senior or supervisory role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools.

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Quality Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients construction projects comply with the companies project quality plan, inspection and test plans, construction drawings and project specification. You will work closely with our clients project teams to implement Quality and monitor construction activities and promote good practices.

Responsibilities:

1. Drawing up company quality procedures, standards and specifications

2. Raising Non-conformances and defects where required

3. Monitoring close-out, root cause analysis and preventative actions of Non-conformances 

4. Produce month quality reports

5. Development of Inspection and Test Plans

6. Monitoring of quality checks and hold points

7. Review material test reports

8. Assist in the writing management and technical reports

9. Collecting and sharing KPI statistics

10. Dealing with any issues that pop up with customers or projects

11. Staying on top of customer expectations

12. Co-ordinating anything that must be done to meet quality standards

13. Any other reasonable requests as required by Management

Qualifications:

1. Engineering related degree

2. CSCS card

3. Previous work experience within a similar role

4. Knowledgeable within the construction industry

5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

8. Relevant membership of the CQI or similar will be an advantage.
