A UKAS laboratory is an independently assessed testing facility accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service. UKAS is the sole national accreditation body recognised by the UK government to assess organisations that provide certification, testing, inspection, and calibration services. Laboratories with this accreditation are held to strict international standards such as ISO/IEC 17025, ensuring accuracy, impartiality, and technical competence.
